We are a Charity that offers performing arts classes to children and young people of all abilities. True Colours Theatre provides a caring, warm and welcoming environment, a place of acceptance and inclusion where our members can grow in confidence without fear of judgement or stigma. Together we shine to make a beautiful rainbow! 🌈

Our Autumn term has been an exciting and busy time!

We are now officially “North Tyneside Council’s Charity Of The Year” which is a huge honour for us!

We were thrilled to have been chosen by the Mayor.

We also won a National Award -

The Children and Young Peoples Award for Children With Disability.

What an achievement!

We are now enjoying the work for our winter term and are preparing for lots of Christmas performances and our very first Inclusive pantomime “Cinderella“.

We also became’Blue Genie Entertainments’ official charity which is just amazing! Our huge thanks must go to our patron Gary Telfer.

We have exciting plans in the making for 2023 and can’t wait to see what the future holds for us and our next chapter of the True Colours journey!
