Kev Rhodes
Music Lead
I studied music production and performing arts at college, I have worked semi-professionally as a musical performer for many years, touring the UK with my band, writing and recording my own material, supporting the likes of Boyzone, Peter Andre and Cheryl.
I have also supported Steps as part of their “Gold” tour at the Newcastle Arena. Since 2005, I performed in numerous musical theatre productions in professional theatres throughout the region, gaining further experience in performance and stagecraft.
I have been with True Colours Theatre since they began back in 2014. I am always motivated by True Colours as it provides a safe and inclusive place for everyone, bringing people together from diverse backgrounds and experiences, to develop performance and life skills in a non-judgemental environment.
To see the students grow in confidence and believe in themselves and seeing how they all support each other is so rewarding and inspiring.
